The Bargaining Committee is comprised of AUNP members from a diverse range of practice areas, clinical specialties, and work environments (including rural and urban settings). Bargaining Committee members are entrusted with negotiating with the employer to advocate and secure the most favorable terms possible for the collective bargaining agreement. This committee systematically gathers and prioritizes AUNP member input to develop a comprehensive, strategic approach to bargaining. The Bargaining Committee ensures that the full spectrum of member interests is effectively championed and serve as the union’s official representatives in formal negotiations, advocating decisively to achieve improved wages, benefits, and working conditions. David Froelich (Co-Chair)
Bargaining Experience: Successfully bargained hundreds of CBAs, spanning a lifetime as a Labour Relations professional.

Rosa Reyes (President)
Bargaining Experience: Joined the bargaining team in 2024.
Clinical Experience: 19 years as a NP with clinical experience in Critical care and Acute, Transitional, and Chronic Pain.

Becky Morrison (Vice President)
Bargaining Experience: Joined the bargaining team in 2024.
Clinical Experience: 13 years of experience as a NP in Rapid Access Addiction Medicine, Opioid Dependency Program, The Alex Rapid Access Addiction Medicine Program, and East Calgary Health Centre.

Bargaining Experience: Joined the bargaining team in 2024, with previous non-union related negotiating experience leading to successful contracts.
Clinical Experience: Over 20 years of experience at the Cross Cancer Institute and a Clinical Associate with the University of Alberta Faculty of Nursing.
